One of the things that concerned me and took me some hours of research was the Standards that I should be relying on to make my Revit Projects (and study). If the goal is to make a Portfolio and dream about getting a job, presentation counts. If the result achieved can get enough closer to the "layouts" used on the companies of the country where you are living in, your results can be confused with "pretension that you know something about how the use that software" but "far away from the expected result" that could lead an employer to hire you.
Projects need explicit and written
standards and without them chaos starts to derail
a project as information starts to become difficult to understand and interpret.
If you are based in UK, in my point of view (and after tones of hours of research and pulling hair out) I believe that the best option to go is the AEC UK CAD & BIM Standards where you can find the BIM Standard for REVIT that might help to start your "Revit Journey".
On my next post I will explain how to apply some of this "Revit Standards" to a "Revit Template".
